I’m pretty confident that I can guarantee that your local music/instrument store will sell beginner piano books. (I’m referring to the stores that sell/rent concert instruments, sell sheet music, etc). You may want to ask the store clerk for help in looking for books that will easily help you learn piano on your own.

Also, you can simply search on google for various note charts, piano lessons, and charts that connect the sheet notes to the actual piano keys. Even that will be for free.

Music is not something where you HAVE to pay to learn. Music is, in my opinion, for personal expression and enjoyment. Good luck learning, with enough motivation, you should be able to learn by yourself with minimal difficulty. It may take some time, so be patient and HAVE FUN!! Cheers.

if you’ve taken traditionally for 6 years, then it might be easier to stick with traditional. you can still play suzuki repertoire without using the method. the suzuki method is great for learning music if you can memorize easily and learn by ear. i started out taking the suzuki method in violin and now take traditionally while still playing the repertoire and other technique and solo pieces. the true suzuki method is meant to be started when you are younger, i think, and your mind is more changeable, but if the traditional method hasn’t worked for you in the past, you could definitely try suzuki. in my opinion, though, if you’ve taken traditional for so long, i would stick with it because you probably have a really good background and all. good luck! hope this helps!

It is never too late to learn!
Of course get back in and start playing it.
Just keep practicing, watch other people play it, take classes.
The piano is a great and instrument and it is a great skill to have, as it is the base for almost every instrument in the musical world.

Ok here is the problem with a 61 key keyboard -
1 – the keys are most likely not weighted, meaning it feels like you are just pressing down some springy plastic.

2 – 61 key keyboard has an ok amount of keys but it really isn’t smart because it limits what pieces you can play.

1- You should look for a digital piano – asuming you maybe dont have a big budget, look for the Casio PX120 its something around 400 – 600$
It has 88 Weighted keys, and very many have this keyboard, its good for beginners and for people on a low budget.

2 – If you have a slightly bigger budget, I would look at theese

Kawai CA 51

Yamaha CLP 340

Roland HP203

or

Yamaha P150/P140

Kawai CN31 or CN32

Roland RD-700GX

All theese are great Digital pianos so check it out!
but i mean thats just my opinion. however the best thing would always be to go for the real thing … but thats not necessary

But if you cand afford any of that atleast have a look at Casio CDP 100.

ANyway i find it not okay to learn piano on a61 key piano,, better buy a 88 key now than later.

No. It takes a LOT more practice and patience then learning how to type on the keyboard. It’s not even worth comparing to.
