Piano basics for all

The need to hire a piano tutor is quite unnecessary these days thanks to internet connections being installed in every single household worldwide. Free online piano lessons can be browsed and even downloaded, so that the works and experience of many pianists which are used in beginner piano lessons can be available to the learner whenever he craves.
Before commencing with this guide for piano lessons for beginners, an introduction to the piano is necessary. This instrument was invented first I the Middle Ages and is known for its soft yet loud sound. The music is formed when keys are pressed, thus hammers attached to each key hits strings in the piano which vibrate and produce sounds that depend of the diameter and length of the string being hit.
With the mechanism in mind, as in the case of all online piano lessons, the following step is to start with the basics of music. Without a full understanding of the elementary musical concepts, it is impossible to play notes properly. Plus, without the proper recognition of the time taken for each note, i.e. rhythm, the sound played will very likely cause others to cringe, even if one did follow the order of the notes on the sheet.
The correct way to learn to play piano is to first learn the difference between pitch, values and meter. Pitches are the 7 notes which one will use while playing music and usually are named after the 1st 7 letters of the alphabets (A-G). Each note’s values determines how long each note will be, whereas meter indicates the regular recurring pattern of beats which can be weak or strong yet are of equal duration.
With these 3 basics understood, practicing them along with intervals, scales, chords and symbols are important to be able to associate a sound to each note read and played. Thus, along with online piano lessons and tips, practical implementation must take place to strengthen the learner’s knowledge and train his ear to recognize notes and their rhythms.
After the basic musical introduction, free online piano lessons start by providing simple notes in order that learners get accustomed to reading and playing them. However, to assure their proper implementation, many offer video tutorials as well as audio clippings of how each musical composition must sound like.
Using simple steps and constant implementation of each, playing the piano can be achievable, and that, too, without having to spend a single penny. Not everyone can become a pianist overnight, however, gradually and with a lot of practice, playing the piano can be easy as well as fun for all ages.
